Migrated User account wireless fail

Hi gang, just got a new macbook pro 2.66 ,

I migrated my old account over from my old macbook, and i find that the migrated user struggles to connect to some wireless internet services while the new user has very little trouble.

Could the migrated wireless settings from the old mac be screwing up my access on this new machine?

Thanks a lot

Yep it slight changed for 10.6 from 10.4, 10.5.

Wel to fix this you need to get geeky and follow these instructions:

1. Disconnect from any wireless signals and turn off Airport!

2. Navigate to the folder /yourHardDrive/Library/System Configuration/ (this is the Mail library not the User Library)

3. Delete the files:
a) com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
b) com.apple.nat.plist
c) com.apple.network.identification.plist
e) Networkinterfaces.plist

4. Immediately reboot so OS X will rebuild these files.

5. Upon the reboot turn the Airport card back on and see if you can connect again.

Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestion, but i had already tried that. it seems to have something to do with security for this account, heres some log printouts

Are you connecting to work network? Have you check the settings in system Preferences->Network pane, Advanced button?
