Migration Manager Freezes

Trying to do a clean install and transfer data from one internal drive to the target. Seems that when it's transferring data, everything seems to freeze up and all i get is a spinning beach ball. Waited over an hour and a half for 9gbs of my applications folder...nothing.

Anythoughts on what this may be?
