Great news. I've just had great success with my mini-Geo USB-serial convertor connected to my Keyspan USB hub. With public beta it would cause a kernal panic on start-up if connected...but now with 10.1 it works.
I've tried connecting with the Newton Connection Utility - syncing worked!!! (and the data merged into Palm Desktop too).
I then tried connecting to my GPS receiver with Atlas. v6.0 That worked too!!!
Now if Epson/Apple would provide drivers for the Color Stylus 600 printer.
