Minimize all Maximize Shortcuts?

Is there a keyboard short cut to minimize all applications or maximize all applications?

Command-option-H is Hide Others, which will hide all applications if invoked from the Finder. Then you can select Show All from the Apple or Finder menu to reveal them again.

 

[Fahrvergnuugen]

option apple-m will shrink all the windows within the active application.
Holding down option while clicking on the yellow minus will do the same.

you can also hold down option and click another application to hide it.
