Minimize in Place Jaguar feature hack

Well I downloaded a Dock.app and Dock.prefpane from an early Jaguar 6C48 build and backed up the 6C115 Dock....

Minimize in place is fun. Super nifty and cool.

But then .... I just realized it's pretty dumb. It makes the right side of the dock (where the trashcan is) useless, adn the little floating windows are always in the front. I'll be putting my GM dock back soon... :p

I am using this hack and the right side of my dock works as it always has. If you hide an application its floating minimized windows go with it. You can download the instructions and files necessary for minimize in place here http://www.mcgavern.com/mip.html
 
Well sure enough, it works great. Very cool. Now we need someone like Unsanity to come up with a haxie to bind minimized apps on the desktop to one edge, and even better to group them by app.
