I'm going more and more insane each day knowing that I can't simply shut down. I don't know what it is. I never installed Norton (I HATE Norton with a passion), so I know it's not that. But as of 6 months ago on my G4 867 it just doesn't want to shut down.
Has anybody had any success resolving this issue where Norton was not involved? Yes I've done all the PRAM, Disk Warrior stuff that can be done. No I have not reinstalled my system (but I plan to once Panther is released).
Please, anybody, offer suggestions before I have to sacrifice a PC for it (which I do anyways for good luck).
