I am trying to connect to a dial up using a Powerbook G4 867mghz
but I get no response.
I cant hear the dial tone even though it has been selected to do so I cant really tell what's happening but I don't think its dialling at all.
The console log shows that the "device" is busy.
I have tried deleting the port and replacing it, shutting down all the other comms ports but to no avail.
There is no other application using the system as far as I am aware.
