I'm running the latest version of AIM (patched to remove ads and make it compact). I recently switched from Adium so I could talk to @mac.com people (RIP Adium, fun while it lasted).
Anyways, The AIM default Icon is ugly as sin, so I changed it. I downloaded a nice AIM icon off of xicons @ MacNN and replaced the .icns file inside of the .app package. Logged out and back in and that changed the icon from the default one to the new one.
Well, this is all great, but when I get an IM, the icon reverts back to the old one and flashes with the little green IM button. How can I change this flashing icon with the old logo icon to still flash but use the new icon I've replaced it with?
Any AIM haxx0rs out there know?
