Modify Pref Panes

Anyone know how to hack pref panes?

I would like to modify the text lable of one that I added in and I would like to remove the Microsoft Keyboard pane. The installer doesn't seem to contain an uninstaller.

Try (if I remember correctly) Library > PreferencePanes and removing stuff from there. It might also be System > Library > PreferencePanes. Just remove whichever panes you don't want anymore (which you should limit to 3rd party panes).

I don't know about modifying the text, unless changing the file name works.
