Monitor not recognizing Power Mac?

I have an NEC MUltiSync FE991SB monitor that I used with a Power Mac G4 (OS9). Neither has been turned on awhile until today. The monitor won't come on with the picture, the light that is green is instead blinking yellow.

Any ideas on what to do to make them connect properly?

I used to use the monitor with my MB Pro 2.33 laptop though haven't for over a year and was wondering if using it there means I need to make some adjustment to make it work with the Powe Mac?
