I'm pretty new to mac world. I just connect my old flat philips 18" monitor to G5 using a miniVGA adapter cable, and this is what happen:
1. the image on G5 in not anymore full screen, but even using the higher resolution leaves two black border on each side.
2. on philips monitor I see exactly the same things
3. more importabte I can only see the same image as on G5.
the hell says that should be a possibility of define the monitor as an exsension of the primary screen, but I'm not able to find the way of doing it.
