Monitoring DSL Activity

Hi!

I´m connecting to Internet via PPoE to a DSL-modem. I´m looking for a solution to monitor all internet-activities (rate of in- and outgoing data). Do I have to donwload a tool or is this tool integrated in OS X?

The suggestion to use the activity monitor (look in Utilities in applications folder or just use GO in menubar/Utilities/ and use the Activity Monitor section related to Network) will work as a standalone application.

You might also try MenuMeters, a shareware utilitiy which places useful menu in the menubar. I have mine set to show network sent/recd which updates live periodically. It is configurable and works fine in Jajuar & Panther (10.2.4 & 10.3.3).
