thank you but well ... that's not exactly what MORE is
First of all congratulations for being 18
After that if I just wanted a word processing program, TextEdit is a good way to do it. A better layout and text editor would have been Ragtime (now on OS X!!) but I don't care ... (I don't event talk about AppleWorks nor MS Word , two software I can't bear).
The point is that MORE is a little, simple and clear utility that allows organizing ideas, notes and even research papers in a hierarchical way.
Example : It does :
+ My Title
___+My First Idea
_____- comment
_____+a non collapsed comment
_____- an other comment
___-Second Idea
___+ Third Idea
_____- ha ha !
_____+ youhoo !!
________- yahoo ?
________- why not ?
_____- little conclusion
___-big conclusion
well ... this maynot help and seems ridiculus, but MORE is very useful. If you want to try it, you can download it freely at :
http://www.outliners.com/more31
Try it (it works with classic under mac os x in spite of its age ... 1991 !!).
thank you if anybody has some idea about this topic : finding an equivalent of MORE for Mac OS X (but something else than Word or AppleWorks which are not such equivalents).
NB: something great with more is that you can type also long paragraphs and not only a little sentense as a point of your development. (very great when writing a research paper or a speach).
thx
Pierre
PS : I exclude also outliners like OmniOutliner (and that's why I request your help). Indeed, such "outliners" are more like a "ToDo" list manager. They allow only a one line input as contain for a "tag" (or element, or call it as you want

). The fact is that MORE 3 (and that's why it is so good) allowed paragraph writing. So usefull for essays and documentations. (thank you again for helping me)
