Motion Crashes after Tiger Install

I've seen this issue pop up on a few other boards, but nothing mentioned here. Am I the only one who can't get Motion to create a new file or open an old one without crashing?

After installing Tiger a dialog popped up saying that the Qmaster app had incorrect file permissions set, it offered to fix them, disable the app, or decide later.
See this help file:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301309

Choosing either fix or decide later appears to have no effect on Motion's ability to stay open.
Has anyone else figured out a fix? Temporary or otherwise?
All other Production Suite apps work fine for me.

I've got this same problem. I've updated to 10.4.1 and I still have the same problem. I can't load a project (not even the tutorial projects) and I can't open a new project. This is really frustrating as I've a project coming up next week where I'd pitched it heavily on the titles and graphics based on using Motion. Has anyone got any ideas?
