I have a motorola E815 from verizon and a Mac Powerbook G4 bluetooth enabled. I know that the possability is out there to make my Mac react to me or rather my phone when I walk into the room with my phone on in my pocket. my question would be how can I get my Mac to react to my phone? What is the program or the protocol that I have to deal with to do this?

as always thank you all.

Both of these pieces of software can do that, but Salling Clicker has a LOT more options for controlling your Mac, including all sorts of plug ins and scripts... basically turning your phone into an AMAZING remote for your Mac... for instance, when acting as an iTunes remote, you can access all of your music by browsing or searching, play, rewind, change tracks, etc... AND it will display album art on your phone!

However, be SURE to check Salling Clicker's compatibility list, as Salling Clicker requires J 82 Java support (or something fancy like that)

P.S. Yes. I have bought Salling Clicker... it's very powerful.

what im really looking for is the ability to alter iTunes as i am recieving calls answering them and ending them... as well as through outgoing calls. the second program you posted doesnt have that ability (or atleast i didnt find it at a glance) it just helps with the address book, and with text messaging. the first program that you send does not have compatability with my phone. i need a program that is compatible with the Motorola e815 model phone. are there any other programs out there that will do it for me?
