mount corrupt HD

I constantly have problems with iBook G4 hard drives. They crash and disk utility fails to fix the, disk warrior fails to fix them, and tech tool pro fails to fix them. Usually, have to reformat the drives to get them to work again.

Here is my question, I boot to an external HD and can't see the internal Drive. The drive will show grey in Disk Utility and I can't mount it. How can I force mount the drive to recover files before I end up reformatting? I can't stand these ibooks, they constantly have this problem. On RARE ocassion I can fix the errors with Disk Warrior. But it seems just about any time the drive shows as grey in Disk Utility I have to reformat.

Any help or suggestions for mounting the disk and recovering data would be nice.

You'd need professional help if disk utility and diskwarrior can't fix it. It sounds to me like you have bad hard drives, or a lot of magnets.
