Just stumbled across this little "problem."
If you mount a FileServer and then make an alias of it and put it in the dock, without saving your password in keychain.
Then disconnect and try to reconnect using the alias in the dock then OS X brings up the connect to server dialog, but won't take any keystrokes.
You can't type in anything in Username or Password text boxes. But everything else about the window functions normally.
Strange thing is that if you double-click on the alias anywhere else in finder, it allows you to type in the text fields.
