Mouse cursor disappears with Bluetooth ON.

I have a problem with the mouse cursor (any mouse, wired or Bluetooth) disappearing in graphics apps such as Photoshop, when Bluetooth is turned on?

With my G5 (10.4.2), at startup the Bluetooth software says that it has lost information for the Bluetooth mouse I am using, however the mouse continues to work normally in internet apps and the desktop. In graphic apps such as Photoshop (Bodypaint3d, Painter..) it will not work normally, as the mouse cursor will disappear, and sometimes it will not track.

I have checked the batteries, and tried the mouse on my powerbook G4 (10.3.9) without any problems. This behavior will continue no matter what mouse I use (including a wired mighty mouse) UNTIL I turn off the built-in bluetooth (wired devices only, bluetooth devices become inactive), then the wired mouse will function normally.

It seems to me that it is only related to the Bluetooth software or hardware? I am using a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse, with base OS 10.2.4 software installed.

I would download bluetooth firmware updates from apple's website.. ive had that problem once, the firmware install corrected it.
