I have a user that has a macbook pro, 2.33 GHz & is getting a new macbook pro. I did not knkow if I imaged her machine if I would be able to drop tha image on the new machine, but she has been having multiple weird issues so I decided to build it fresh anyway. I have everything installed on it including the same version of Parallels (4). I want to move the xp vm she is using to the new machine & don't know if i have to move it manually (if so, what & where are all the pieces) or if there is an easier way to move this over. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I am by no means a seasoned mac user. Thanks!

This is really hard to understand, You want to know if you can move XP from her old MacBook to her new one?

Usually, Parallel's virtual machines are stored in a "Parallels" folder located in the user's home folder, or in the "Documents" subfolder of the user's home folder.

Parallels gives you the option of storing the virtual machine and/or any related configuration files for that virtual machine pretty much anywhere, though -- so if the user opted to store that data somewhere else, then the only person that knows where that is would be the person that opted to store that data somewhere else. Or someone that can use Mac OS X's "search" function on a basic level.
