I thought I heard we could place our home directory on a shared volume hosted by a windows computer via SMB but I can't find any documentation on how to do this. Does anyone know if this is possible? If so does anyone know where the guide is?
Thank you but will this guide work if you want to move your entire home folder to a windows computer and access it over SMB? It seems to me you would have to do something to tell the mac to mount the share before you login. The guide you mentioned does not mention......
