mp3 player problem

i got a alba MP31GD10BLK mp3 player for my birthday yesterday,and i can not hool it up to my osx mac,can anyone tell what i should do,i can not return the mp3 player to the store as i did not get a recite when my dad gave me it,if it is getting a driver where do i get one from,the booklet that came with it has no mac info in it all,it just talks about ******* windows
 
Try going [HardDrivename] > Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility > and try looking for the device on the left handside (when its plugged in)

If it appears:
Click the device > Erase > Volume format > Mac OSX Extended

I hope this works... If it doesnt... Get an iPod :D

P.S. I hate companies that dont support Mac's *cough* Xbox *cough*
 
and if it would, reformatting it for Mac would probably just kill it, because it expects FAT32. i'd return it. your father probably has the receipt.
