Mpeg2 to Mpeg4??

I just "won" one of those new JVC Digital Media Cameras. And you guessed it, it don't work on my Mac. It saves my digital movies as Mpeg2 files. Does any know of a utility I can use to convert the files into Mpeg4 files? I would like to import them into iMovie, or iDVD if I could.
Any help would be appreciated greatly!!

I think OpenShiiva will also get the job done.

IINM, QuickTime Pro can't read MPEG2 files without a special MPEG2 importer, which costs $$$.

Thanks Zammy. As far as I know Apple offers an mpeg2 component just to read the file.
