MS Access for Mac

I need to use Access for work and was wondering anyone knew if it was available for Mac, on either OS X or OS 9.

I checked out the microsoft web site and of course it was of no help.

If Access is not available for Mac does anyone know of an alternate program that does the same thing>?

Access is a big NO for Mac... However, you can use FileMaker now at version 6! Once you will get used to its way of doing things you will like it a lot

Office X, that's the best I could find. The stupid description is just marketing crap, not specific details like what's actually in the package.

If your employer will pay for software, you might be able to get Virtual PC and run Access that way.

MS Access does not exist for the Mac... It is NOT part of Office X!

If you REALLY need it then you'll need to run it inside of VirtualPC...

If you simply need a SQL relational database there are many (mySQL, etc)... But Access does a bunch of other stuff that is not really database related... like making nice UI's etc. (FileMaker is the closest equivelent if you need to build a UI.)
