I ran the Tweak check on DSLreports.com to see how my connection is. I am a Cable modem user. My Router is set to 1500 MTU size, I checked in the Terminal and OSX is also set to 1500 MTU size. Yet DSL reports says my MTU is showing up at 1488.
I rebooted in OS 9 and ran the same tweak check, and it said I was at 1500 MTU.
Any idea what in X could be limiting my MTU to 1488?
