multi user console?

Interested if anyone has attempted this.

I'm looking for a solution to allow two or more users access to a MacOSX system without using tcp/ip network. Be it dumb terminal thru serial like other unix systems, or maybe some sort of netboot via usb/firewire?

Any idea's?

So you want to be able to physically wire two computers together to use a CLI I presume?

Interesting...what's the idea behind this, maybe there's a better way... Are you just trying to connect more than one computer together because you don't have a TCP/IP facility, or are you thinking about physically securing a connection from sniffers?

Yeah, the general idea was to serial connect another system or terminal to the OSX box. I found a few answers searching the archioves. I'll give them a try and let you know what worked.
