A network engineer, looking at my network, says that several computers are multicasting, causing much traffic on our network. What is it and how do I stop it?
The engineer was a PC man and was looking at the head-end of our combined high school/middle school complex. The high school is mixed platform, but I am almost exclusively Mac with about 150 appliances mostly OSX but about 2 dozen still in 9.
