I recently updated the firmware of my Airport Extreme (802.11n/Fast Ethernet) to 7.3.1 in order to enable wireless Time Machine backups over Airport Disk. The unintended side-effect of this update seems to be that the Airport will only mount one USB drive as an Airport Disk (the first drive attached to the hub) and no subsequent drives.
I have two external USB drives connected to a USB hub which is then connected to the USB port on my Airport Extreme. When I open up Airport Utility, the "Disks" tab only shows the first drive that was connected and not the second drive. The same thing happens even when I switch ports on the USB hub, so I don't think it has anything to do with the USB hub. I also don't think it has anything to do with the drives, as they both work when connected separately to the Airport Extreme, or when connected directly to my MacBook.
I am currently up-to-date on all of my software updates, running OS X 10.5.2. The only additional software I installed since the second drive stopped working over Airport Disk was the new firmware update (7.3.1).
I have tried resetting the Airport completely (reset button for 10 seconds) and then setting it up again from scratch, but this doesn't resolve the problem. I have also tried restarting my MacBook, but this also has no effect.
