multiple session as linux ?

Hi.

Do you know if it's possible (if yes the how to do it) to open at launch more than one session ?

I mean : on my PC-Linux, when I do Alt+Ctrl+FX (where X is a number from 1 to 7 ... or 8, i don't remember), then I enter on an other session of the system, as if there was more than one Linux launch at time.

Is it possible to do the same with Darwin ? It would be very useful.

The 'screen' package does that for you. I think it is included
in the base OS & Darwin. It is a GNU tool. It's a pty multiplexer.

Isn't it odd? I've just been installing/getting the hang of screen and all of a sudden there's an active thread on it. I love it when that happens. Also, there's a quite comprehensive manual at
