Haven't tried it yet, but it _should_ work on the mac -- according to the website it's all XUL/XML/RDF/CSS and JavaScript: no binary code needed to do this! (the fact that you can do this sort of thing in mozilla without writing a line of machine-dependent code is why I sake my head ruefully when people complain about XUL)
