Having imported lots of cd's and downloaded lots of mp3's onto my G4 iMac (OSX 10.1.5), is there any purchasable equipment that can be used to access these tunes, preferably wirelessly, and play them on my stereo in my living room downstairs.
Cheers

Yes, there are things that plug into the computer and transmit the music over a FM frequency, essentially making your own radio station. Is this what you are looking for?

My dad got one of those devices for his portable CD player, even though he doesn't really need anymore with his new car (I have his old car, and I could use it). It has a switch on the side with 4 frequencies (88.1, .3, .5 an .7 I think) that it will transmit over when turned on.

Thanks. I've found something very close to what I want (see link), but it isn't Mac compatible. So something that does the same as this would be good. It must be 802.11b and osx 10.1.5 compatible but I'm not too concerned about the web browser function or instant messaging.
