hi all
i have a set of speakers atached to the back of my mac g5
and when im pluging aheadset in the front panel
the sound from the back speekers thus not mute

this is a somthing im used to from my pc. whn sound is playing from back speekers , and headset is pluged in front panel, the backspeekers are supoused to mute.

do my mac has aproblem ?
or is it just like this in mascs?
thanks all

I like that about the G5's. It reminds me of the coloured iMacs with two headphone jacks that worked simultaneously.

(Now you'll have to do the unthinkable - turn off the back speakers yourself!)

i just cant belive that every time i plug my headset I'll have to go all around my (very big) G5 and unplug my speekrs (which don't have an on off button)
u guys sure that theres no way around this?
maybe someone was nice and make some software solution?

Use the front audio-out for both speakers and headphone.

1. Ensures you use only one at a time.
2. Precludes needing to reach around back.
