My iMac-Windows network is lost in 10.3

..Well, it's not actaully mine, it's my uncle's.. Two weeks ago, I visited my uncle and he wanted a network (well he already made the network) but he wanted a shared folder between the iMac and pc. So I went to Finder->Go->Connect to Server->Browse, there I found the network, I opened up the folder, and there was the PC, everything was great.

Yesterday, I updated him to Panther, (clean install & backup of prefs) and now, when I click browse, I see the network, but I don't see his computer in it. I can still ping his computer, and I still have internet access, which the imac is sharing with the pc.. PLEASE can anyone help us? Cause 10.3 is so fast on this 400MHZ iMac compared to 10.2.8.. Please don't let me switch back...

Maybe change the workgroup to be the same -- I think that's in Directory access.

panthers browsing doesn't work properly. Use apple+k to connect to the comps.
Like:
smb://compname

Hopefully this will be solved in 10.3.1
