My ipod wont play video

ITS Making me suppppppper cuz i have an ipod 30G.B or whatever the 300 one and then i cant put no videos in it it says it cannot be played on this ipod, i think i have to convert it or sumthing HELP

Handbrake and export you movies to iPod (in the preference file of the application).
