Okay well my step mom washed my clothes and i did not look in the pocket and she did not either and my ipod was in there and she found it and told me i rushed in the computer and told them that my ipod got wet they told me to shake it till it got dried then get a hair dryer and dry it then put in the warm spot and then iput it in rice because rice absorbs the water then i went to sleep and when i woke up i looked and theres no water and then i turn it on and i see music videos etc. but the light is dark but not black or white its just dark and it died so I'm charging it and i don't know what to do ??

The tricks that you have tried on a 'dunked' iPod are just some things to try that don't always help. If your iPod has been in the water, and you have problems, then your iPod can't be fixed. Liquid damage is death to electronics. If you are lucky, removing the moisture (the shaking, and gentle heat from the hair dryer, and leaving the iPod in rice) is a good thing to try. In your case, it didn't help.
What can you do now? Buy another iPod...
