MY KEYBOARD - cant use the comma

HEllo all - Everytime I press the (comma) in any application it brings up the preferences window. The keyboard is also a little sluggish with the spacebar and other uses of grammar. Sometimes the window goes into the dock as well on it's own..... Anyone have advice on where I can disable this?

If the comma brings up the prefs window, it means the Cmd-Button (Apple) is being held down, or rather it means that something's sticky under the command-button.
 
is there anyway to fixit? it's also the spacebar.....and other keys do wonky things.....ShouldI bring it in? Or is it something that can be homefixed?
 
Theoretically, you can lift both Cmd-keys and put them back in after trying to find the reason for the fault. Is this on a notebook or a desktop keyboard? If it's a notebook keyboard, I'd be a bit more careful, since exchanging it means you're left without a computer for a week or two, whereas you can simply use another USB keyboard with a desktop computer for the time of repair/exchange...
 
I had a similar problem last week. Cleaning the keboard after removing the keys didn't cure it. But a new USB Apple keyboard from the Apple Store is only £19 so I got a new one on the way to work. :)
