My Macbook turns de monitor off in start up

When i turn my macbook on, the monitor makes a quick flash and then stays off. No light, no gray screen, nothing. The computer stays on but with no video signal at all. I have tryied the trouble shooting but nothing seems to get solved. Anyone who can help me.... please?

Sounds as if an inverter or the video card went in the Mac Book. Take it into a repair shop to have look at it.
