Ah.. what a day, got an email from the forum regarding the launch of leopard. And the next moment, my pbook refuses to wake up from the screensaver. Took out the batt and replace it and it refuse to boot up, showing me the grey screen with the ever green apple logo....
heeded some advises and plug in the installer disc 1 and held c while trying to reboot again, yield no result other than insanely unholy sound coming from the drive while a loading icon spins below the apple logo for... indefinitely...
Some speculate my HDD is dead.... some says the logic board....
in any case, its out of warranty and its definitely gonna cost me some money...
sigh... any suggestions of diy or cheaper alternatives? Possible to install a bigger HDD to replace this one since it could be dead....?
