Repair permission changes nothing and it seems that certain applications are unable to write my library/preferences directories, which is causing some problems.
The Owner of my Home folder is "unknown," with a lock next to unknown (but the "locked" box is NOT checked). What is going on with my system and how can I fix it!??!!?
