Myspace and Youtube

A few weeks ago, myspace and youtube stopped working. At first I thought it was my college limiting bandwidth, but now that I am home, it does not work here either. I havent set any firewall protections or anything. Any suggestions on what could be the problem? Thanks
 
You might also want to make sure that you're using the latest version of Flash. This might not be the issue but since both sites rely a lot on Flash, it's worth a try.
 
I installed flash and restarted my computer. I'm also using firefox (but it doesnt work on safari anyways). Any other thoughts? Thanks
 
Have you tried resetting all of the privacy settings on Firefox (this will require you to reinput any username/passwords you have for any sites)? Also, check to make sure that nothing is being blocked from a specific page from within Firefox.

Finally, Have you tried any other browser such as Camino or SeaMonkey/Mozilla?
 
I figured out the problem. I had peerguardian running which seeemed to be blocking the sites. Thank you for your help.
