MySQL Problem

This is weird. Last night, MySQL was working just fine. Suddenly, I look at my site today, and all I get is error after error:

http://dris.webhop.org/

So I attempt to use the MySQL command line tool, and this is what it gives me:

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)

Anybody here know what's going on? I appreciate any advice.

Now I feel stupid. Turns out that the startup item didn't work correctly, so the database server wasn't even running.

I meant to post: I checked you link this afternoon and it seemed to work fine.
