Hi everyone, just found this website by searching google. I looked through some of the archives, but can't seem to find an answer to this question.

My problem is that immediately when I boot up, the natd process starts up. Now i know this is supposed to happen, but it's doing things it's not supposed to do. Looking at iStat pro right now [the degrees are in celsius]:

help!

PS: if i kill NATD in my activity monitor, the internet stops working until i restart both my airport extreme and the airpot in my macbook.

Wrong forum! You should have posted this question in Mac OS X System & Mac Software.

The natd is part of your TCP/IP. So open System Preferences->Network, Airport tab and then make a new Location (take it off Automatic) and create a new Location calling in Home or something.

Plus download the free iStat Menus then turn on 'Show network in menu bar' to look at your outgoing & ingoing. Tell us if anything process is sending/receiving data without your knowledge.
