I'm using 10.2.1 and I just niticed a fun little thing. Open a finder window and drag it half off the screen somewhere (so some portion of it is outside the viewable area), then drag a file/folder onto that window as if you were going to move it into that window or something and wait a second or two. Presto, the half hidden window slides onto the screen so you can see it all
