Hi all, I am new on this forum and I have a big problem:

I have an Imac g4 700, 40 gg, 768 Mb Ram, I made the mac os x.3.4 update, and then my computer wont restart, when he restart, there is the grey apple logo and the "searching" little animation, I waited for one night and it was allways the same. So I restarted with the button, and that's allways searching for something. I can't open the cd player, and the keyboard is inactive (verr num light off)

There a reason for this problem, may be, the update was 40 Mo, but my DD was quite full, only 1,5 gg free (but he didnt say me that there was not enough disc place).

Now I am on the windows of my brother :-(

Sorry if my english is bad, because I am french.

I will be very happy to have answers; and may be solutions.

See if you can get the machine to do a safe restart, restart holding the SHIFT key, if you can then go into start up disks and make sure the correct disk is checked. If that fails try booting from your OS X CD under one of the menu option you should be able to choose your start up disk. Hopefully its that simple of a fix?

Good luck...
