Need to ask a quick question

My friend that has a PowerMac G4 (We still dont know whether it's a Yikes! or Sawtooth). It has OS 9.2.2. Is there any way to get a Apple Pro Keyboard (the white ones) to work with OS 9? A lot of the keys are damaged on the black one it has. I just dont see why a USB keyboard works in one OS but not the other.... they way I see it; "It's a USB keyboard; how complicated can it get!?"

Yes, you can use the new keyboard on that machine. Who told you different?
