I am trying to use a Phillips Toucam Pro with iStopmotion on the new macbook pro. I have downloaded and installed the IOXperts webcam driver, but the only camera found in all my video applications is the inbuilt isight. (Very hard to do stopmotion when the camera is pointing at me
)
I know the hardware is okay because I have an ibook with the same release of osx, the same IOExperts driver and the same version of iStopmotion, and when I plug in the Toucam, it all works fine.
If I disable the inbuilt isight camera in the macbook pro, would this make a difference? If yes, how do I actually disable hardware (I am a recent mac convert and still strugglimg a little with the architecture).
If no does anyone have any other suggestions.
Thanks
Chris
