I have just purchased a refurbished Netgear PS 121 USB print server to use with my 3 Macs. I want to be able to share a USB printer on the network without a host computer having to be switched on. The PS 121 didn't come with software or manual but I downloaded them from Netgear's site but the software seems to be for Windows.
I have connected the PS 121 to my printer - a Canon Pixma 630 and the ethernet side of the print server is connected to an Ethernet switch to the network. All the Macs can see each other but I can't see the print server and therefore can't print. Using 'Network' on the Mac doesn't seem to help me.
What should I do? How do I find out its I.P address or how do I set one?
