Hi, Does anyone know how I can log in to my Netgear wg602v2 wireless router with my Intel MacBook Pro? (need to get it off it's default settings and give it some security) I've been unnsuccessful so far and have read that i may be unable to do this without windows ..yuk.

What I mean is that I can't log in to the router's web interface and get the home page.

Plus I've occasionally had problems logging into routers from safari, try with firefox instead.
 
this is what I've done when I had to reset mine cause I lost the password.

There is a small reset to factory settings button on the back, it's ver little and you need a pin to push it, hold it for about 5 seconds (check netgear website) you'll see all lights in the front switch off and back again.

then you have to connect by cable (wireless is not setted up yet) to its adress (generally 192.168.0.1) and enter login and password (check netgear website again for factory passwords)

this should be fine now, just configure it :)
