I could never install any OSX version of Netscape before...they would hang forever at the installation. But, I gave it another shot with 10.2.2 and it worked.

It's slow and not that great but at least it's not IE.

If anyone has had similar problems, give it a try now.

P.S. Opera 7 came out for Windows today - it's really, really cool. I hope they have an update for X soon.

the latest version of opera for os x has been out for at least a week.

let's see, sell one's soul to aol or m$? choices, choices, choices..

oh wait, there's other choices too - like omniweb, icab, opera, and what's that other one....chimera maybe? :D

I don't use it that often but Netscape 7 installed just fine before 10.2.2 came out. One thing I've found is that for some apps you have to move the old version to the trash and then EMPTY THE TRASH or you will have problems. I can only guess that this has something to do with how the Finder decides which app to use to open a file. Perhaps it wants to use the old version to open the new app even though the old app is in the trash?

Opera6 for Mac isn't as nice as the Windows v7 version.

v7 has some pretty cool cosmetic changes and allows you to move the Main Toolbar to the Right or Left - I moved mine to the left - so it could be where my Dock would be.
