Hi to all, I'm new on this forum and I already have a question!

I want to connect an iMac 10.6.2 Snow Leopard with an iMac 10.4.11 Intel Core 2 duo, Tiger, via...?

I know that the easiest way is an Ethernet cable, but I can't run any cables now
so, is there a way to make a home network?, lets say, using airport? I have a 2wire modem which is connected by ethernet to the snow leopard and tiger is running wireless, I know it`s confusing the way I explain it but I hope you understand me and help me with a solution, I've followed instructions on the Mac's help and all I get is: error-43
so, I better wait for a real answer from you.

Thank you in advance. Ricmex

If both computers have AirPort cards, simply create an ad-hoc network on one computer and have the other computer join that network.

You can do this by pulling down the AirPort menu icon (near the clock) and selecting "Create Network," then joining the network you created with the other computer.

Good idea, but to maintain connection to the 2wire AT&T modem/router and to not have to jump back and forth between the ad-hoc network and the 2wire network probably best to just turn on file sharing on both machines but make it as secure as possible. System preferences/sharing section.
