Is there a software that could be put on MacOSX to use a Win XP machine like PC Anywhere works?

Anyone on this board using Timbuktu Pro or VNC? I tried to configure VNC with no luck. Thought I would try Timbuktu Pro next.

Possible VNC problems:

Firewall (Windows has a built in one, along with any third-party programs)
Port Forwarding (if not on same network)
VNC setup
